nup, not many on the fishing boats as far as i know, but i cold be wrong...

Maybe these days WRENs do goto sea, good question that; wonder if the mix of jobs is fair in the forces, or do women get stuck with the stuff blokes cant be ars..-erm-fussed to do?

Well I must admit, Im glad women were not allowed to go to sea when I was in the Navy!
Maybe the R.N. has changed a lot since my days, but life on board was no picnic, everything was rough from the food down to the sleeping arrangments
There was no time to be "Politically Correct" I know some of you will not aggree with me, but then again Im just going by my personal past experience

evening folks... i'm sure the WREN's do go to sea these days, but maybe just on short trips....
Not sure about the forces and equal opportunities.... good point...

If a woman joins upand wants to do a man's job then she should be expect to be treated the same as the men and put up with the same conditions! It's no good crying wolf once your out at sea and expecting preferential treatment.
It's a fact of nature that women are weaker physically than men so it wouldn't be possible for them to do some of the tasks that men perform anyway!
By the way........I'm female so digging my own grave here I reckon
