the sky is blue because it would look kind of funny yellow and besides that the cookie monster lives there and everyone knows his favorite color is blue...DUH!!
the far side of the moon is not really pointed away from us rather we are pointed away from it
it doesn't rain that is liquid sunshine you are feeling so enjoy it while it lasts

When people tell you to smile and you do, even if you are feeling terrible, the actual stimulation of the muscles used to smile triggers chemical inhibitors in the brain that behave like the active chemical in prozac. In other words, pretending to smile even when you're not happy does slightly improve emotional status, and frowning really does make a person sadder.
