Andrea Ortiz...used to want a coffeeshop...now I want a restaurant

wow...this thread has moved along quickly

anyway...
The private grade schools I went to in the US were always at least two years ahead of the public schools. I found that science was the area that this was most evident in...when I take earth science at college I always get A's...still so far ahead that it doesn't cover anything I didn't learn in 8th grade. Still I find that those that went to public schools are so much more rounded in their literature knowledge. The education system is so odd.

Colleges are so varied...whether private or public...I have only gone to private but my boyfriend has gone to public and so I observe a lot of what he learns.

Some colleges here seperate the American from the English and then also offer courses for certain time periods (with everything blended). I enjoyed taking American Literature all by itself...though I disagree with the fact that early court indictments are considered literature (though the witchcraft indictments were interesting).

Are you going to teach English Amy?

And yes, possibly teach English, but only at university level.
