Amy: ear-deep in novels, poetics, and historical documents. Started conversation Mar 8, 2003
Back home. Dad and I spent the night in Harrisonburg (cause he'd driven for 4 hours already that day, and it was 7 when I finally got there), had lovely super-greasy-really-bad-for-you pizza at the mall , and watched 12 Monkeys on the dvd player on the laptop.
Left there this morning a little before 10 am, and got here at 1, greeted with my mom's wonderful bacon and potato soup.
I've become a foodie after all this time dealing with Dalton... I can't get enough of stuff that doesn't make me sick and actually tastes like it's supposed to.
YAY!!! I'm home!
Got a paper to write regardless, though.

I know you're sitting right here behind me telling me I don't have to reply to this, but I'm doing it anyway.

Yes, I did.
Sorry we missed you - there was a talent show (entertainment for new members dinner) and the girls played a flute duet. Never got home till after 8:30, figured you'd be busy by that time or I could have called back...

If you hadn't mentioned the misspelling, I wouldn't have noticed, because I had to go back and see what in the world you were talking about... my mind has started making spelling corrections as I read - I don't even notice most misspelled words any more.

That's a sign that you've been online far too much.
Or that all the people you talk to are terrible typists/spellers.

*can almost imagine*
Hm... If I were to try calling again tonight, would it work? Not that there's much new...
