We've got it all on UHF.

UHF stars "Weird Al" Yankovic as George Newman, a slacker who takes over his uncle's TV station. He and his friend Bob (David Bowe) create bizarre new TV shows to get Channel 62 back on its feet. However, all is not easy. The number 1 station in town is Channel 8, run by a jerk named R. J. Fletcher III (Kevin McCarthy). After hearing about the little station's progress, Fletcher wages an all-out war on George and U62.

Michael Richards also appears as Stanley Spadowski, the janitor and star of "Stanley Spadowski's Clubhouse". In the end, it's the station's engineer and a street bum who save the station from demolition.

In my opinion, the funniest part of the entire movie is when George, after being dumped by Teri (Victoria Jackson), goes on "Uncle Nutsy's Clubhouse" and makes the following statement:

George: "We're gonna have SO much fun, we'll forget about how miserable we are, and how much life SUCKS, and how we're all gonna grow old and DIE someday."

Kid in audience: "I wanna go home!"

George: "Shut up, you little weasel! Okay. Now we're going to play one of my favorite cartoons. It's a sad, depressing, story about a pathetic coyote, who spends every waking moment of his life in the futile pursuit of a sadistic road runner, who MOCKS him and LAUGHS at him as he's repeatedly CRUSHED and MAIMED. Hope you ENJOY IT!"
