i ran into your post on the place of h2g2 online, and came over to see your space. i'm currently new to the site and studying it for a class called 'online communities.' many of the questions you posed are ones that i am trying to find out as well. i'm interested in your experiences and what the site means to you.

Sure. I've already been contacted by one of your fellow-students, but I am perfectly happy to talk to both of you. IM might be the simplest because I am in the UK and you are in the US. I have IDs for MSN, Yahoo and AIM, so let me know which of those works for you, and I'll let you have the appropriate ID. It'll have to be either this weekend or next weekend though.

The project looks interesting, and there are a lot of people here who would have useful things to say.

I Checked out your site, and what you are doing looks *extremely* interesting. But you should spread the word amongst your classmates not to ask for folks phone numbers. Posting phone numbers is against the rules of the site, and any posts including phone numbers should be pulled. I'm not that bothered about being asked, but that's proably against the rules too! The beeb takes confidentiality seriously. Since there are email options, it shouldn't be a problem.
