okay... can anyone recommend dirt-cheap but not squalid accommodation for the event?
(which I haven't actually booked yet... oh dear...)

Grief, took me long enough to answer didn't it. Anyhoo, tis I, the leader of this sorry event once more checking in. I was wondering if you wished to discuss the details of this over email, where we can find you some accomodation, get you registered and plan exactly what time to put you on. If so drop me a note at kevin ampersand gerbil dot co dot uk. That should get straight to me.
Munchkin, actually trying to nail things down now.

It may be. I felt I would rather that got spam than my more usual address which I try to avoid putting on websites.

Mandragora - how long would it take for you to make a corset, waterfall skirt and evil doctor shirt together - seeing as I haven't ordered my outfit yet and don't really have the money at the moment....

That'll be one of us well-dressed, in that case...
A corset can be done in about a week if I have no other stuff to do. Which is rare, so I would leave a month for that. Waterfall skirt would take not very long, shirt likewise (unless you want them lined, or fancy like that.) So about 2 months for the whole package, although I could clear some space for you next year and do it as a rush order. You wouldn't have to order everything at once, o'course and if you are not planning to change shape drastically I could do your patterns now.

I should be so lucky on the shape changing thing. I've promised to sit on the door for a bit, so costume is required (at least that is my excuse)
I should be ordering in January (x-mas quickly followed by b-day has it's uses on occasion)
Will e-mail you sometime.

Space will be made.
Not that I've got many of the corsets I intend to 'demonstrate' actually finished, either...
