I know what you mean!
If you have a spare two minutes, take a look at my journal please!
I had insomnia even worse last night and composed a little ditty to pass the time!

Hello! Having trouble sleeping again?
Hi shazz!
shazzPRME Posted Nov 25, 2001
Hi Amy... not at all! I have been out for a long drinking session tonight! Where else to come when I get home and make a nice cuppa but here eh?
Besides... tomorrow is Sunday, the day of rest!

Here you go, then...
I still haven't figured out what I want to do for the Post... When's the absolute, must-be-in-then-or-else deadline for the December 6 edition?
Hi shazz!
shazzPRME Posted Nov 25, 2001
The day before!
So... what time zone are you in? About 8 hours behind me I think... so, for you, about 8am on Wednesday the 5th December I think that makes it!
I think... oh dear... brain not working alert... send another Mufflewhump asap!

I'm 9 hours behind you... I'm in the Pacific Time Zone (I'm in California)
*hands shazz another mufflewhump*
Hi shazz!
shazzPRME Posted Nov 25, 2001
Got you
I had time problems when the Post ran the Big Band Wagon thing in the summer. I tended to stay up most of the night because I felt so bad about some of them been at different ends of the time spectrum! Still... it all worked out in the end and everyone seemed to enjoy it... and I got to make yet more friends through h2g2 which is always nice!
*Chomps on Mufflewhump and thinks maybe a couple of hours sleep, now the has been drained, may not be a bad idea.*

Bandwagon? I joined h2g2 in July, but I didn't start reading the Post until the Radish report...
Hi shazz!
shazzPRME Posted Nov 25, 2001
Ah... a silly summer competition where volunteers were 'locked' inoy a series of fora which only they could post to. No-one was allowed to post to them apart from the other 'occupants' and they couodn't post anywhere else on h2g2! I gave them 'tasks' and kept an eye on them all. Each week the readers voted 2 out and the final week voted for the winner. It was great fun... everyone (more-or-less) stuck to the rules and seemed to enjoy themselves!
The tasks included choosing graphics to decorate their rooms, choosing the best ten Wowbagger cartoons, choosing, ordering and cooking (describing how to cook anyway) a five course meal and coming up with 'light bulb jokes.
Silly... very h2g2... but great fun all the same

Hi shazz!
shazzPRME Posted Nov 25, 2001
Indeed
Poor cafram and sea signed up... two of the most prolific posters at the time... I think it was torture for them!
Anyway... I can hear gentle snoring and birdsong... time for me to hit the sack I think
Thank you muchly for the chat and catch you again soon
Hopefully I gave you some food for thought the other day about what you can write for TP anyway

Goodnight! Or, rather, morning!
But I don't like any of those... Although I asked my fans, and they're pulling for mufflewhumps... (But I don't have enough on them for a full article, Pod was the one who made them up as far as I know, and Frankie may ask me about them, since he's interviewing me right now...)
Hi shazz!
shazzPRME Posted Nov 25, 2001
Oh dear
I see your point... don't want to be repetative do we!
Have you ever had/been to/organised a disastrous/brilliant birthday party for anyone?
I don't know really... I would love you to write something but don't want you to feel pressured... that tends to make the style tense doesn't it?
If you can't think of anything this time just write something if/when the fancy hits you!

Considering how this weekend's been, how about something along the lines of 'How to drive your son and daughter-in-law nuts' *sigh* It would be funny, if it weren't me!
I want to do something, but I'm just not that interesting of a person--never been anywhere or done anything...
