That'd probably be a good thing for me too - english (irish, technically) as I am, I don't know my way around london fantastically well (last time I was there, I gave the impression of knowing everything, secretly casting glances down to the map I'd secreted onto my palmtop. ), since I lived in Oxford for many years, and now have a flat in southampton.

Nyssabird *is* the Anime and manga Shack's resident Tentacle Queen, you know. That's what people have been noticing, never mind saying...
London is a funny old townn, and we seem to have agreed on a tour based on entries from the guide.

Drinking is later, at the friday pre-meet. If you can keep up with Dutch, good on you. I'm sure lunch will be at a convenient 'London style' hostelry, mostly for Nyssabird's benefit.
The highlights? Well, there's an itinery (of sorts) in the thread on Tube's Page, all subject to change and amendment depending on weather and inclination.

Oh..just always interesting to lurk on your favorite researcher's journal and discover you've been talked about..I particularly like the term 'dubious' .
