She has a page in H2G2. She loves me. I feel like a teenager, ten years down the line. To that woman, I would like to say a few things.
Pilsbury cinammon rolls, Wednesdays, Empire State, letters with a Queen's head stamp on them, tapes and Pooh Bear.
She knows who she is.

I laugh in the face of Nostradamus. Or I would if he hadn't died so many years ago. The man himself has foretold many things (things I myself haven't experienced but old men at bus stops tell me that the world was so much more different when they were younger) and one of the things he foretold was the end of the world. Or something. In the year 1999 and seven months, terrible things will happen and if you have any sense you'd go away and come back in August when it's all over. Well, this section of the Guide is being written on the first of July, 1999. Wars continue against nations with weapons of mass destruction, a solar eclipse will pass over south west England and France on the 11th (the English and the French have always seen each other as less than neighbourly) and the planet is warming.
Hang on, does that mean he was right...? Oh bum.
