Great, now I'm remembering The Gam Room...

Er, typo of Game Room, or something worse?

Speaking of games, I got the ID Super Pack recently on Steam (containing such games as Doom 3, Return To Castle Wolfenstien, etc), and the game I've been playing the most from it lately is Commander Keen.
Which just goes to show ... A fun game with practically no loading time beats snazzy next-generation graphics any day.

Yeah. I miss tetris.

I live in a deep narrow valley and cell phones don't work down here -- I mean they can't call in or out. It never even occurred to me to pull it out of its corner and play games with it.
I suppose you have Pac-Man and Asteroids too.

Nope, just ... "Brick Attack", "My Sounds", "My Pictures", and "Doodler" ...
There's GOT to be someplace you could play Tetris online. Like here http://www.freetetris.org/ for instance.

Speaking of games: I still play Commander Keen (Thank You, DOS-Box!) pretty regularly. I also just bought a collection of Sierra's Space Quest games, which was complimented nicely when Garius got a copy of the King's Quest games for my birthday. Currently stuck in Space 6...
Oh, and no: "Gam Room" is not a typo. A Gam is the noun for a collective of weasels. Such as in the phrase "a gam of mauve colored weasels riding unicycles made entirely of Bob Evans' breakfast sausage while singing "We're Off to See the Wizard" backwards in E Minor."
Such a crucial moment in the history of H2G2. Much of the wackiness of the Guide was founded by that Gam.

I've just beaten the first episode of Commander Keen. I ended up in sixth place, after multiple attempts to get the huge collection of teddy bears at the bottom there. I also had several hundred blaster charges, having spent some time ... ah, playing in that one level with three blasters at the top there.

Ooh, Garg City. Didja find the secret level?
Oh, also: I've taken my first tentative step into MMORPGs with City of Heroes. I've heard it's not the best, but it's more than enough to make me happy.

They are addicting. I had to give up my WoW account.

If the secret city's the one that you get to by getting hit by the ice cannon at JUST the right moment, then yes I did.
