Yar, have you seen hide-nor-hair of Wargamer since the big migration from Auntie Beeb over to Not Panicking Ltd.? If you see him, point him my way, will you? I have a lingering question for him that hasn't been answered in several years. Meanwhile, I'll do some more searching about for him.
Thanks.

Er ... I'm sorry, but I'm not even sure who Wargamer is.
Might just be because I'm terrible with names, but ...

Yar,
He was listed as Wargamer (The Wanderer). He was the one who ran the core story for "The Seige of Galyana" almost ten years ago.

You played the part of Ribald and Lampwick; he took the lead with the character of Ma Chao, an agile Dragoon warrior; I played as Furr Purrfikt (humanoid feline from other dimension) and Baileywick (impromptu henchman). We had a pretty good time with the adventure and saw it all the way through to completion (unlike so many other adventure threads). What are the chances he's still around? Slim to none. He did leave a gmail account trace on his My Space, so I attempted to reach him that way, as well.

Ah ... vague recollections are surfacing. I dunno, I barely remember *anything* about my teenage years. Sorry.

Well, Yar, just follow the link [above] and re-read our exploits. I got a kick out of the whole thing, and it looked like you were really into it, as well. The interplay you had between your two characters kept me constantly amused and laughing. Because of the antics of Ribald and Lampwick, I also incorporated a "henchman" as a sidekick for my main character. I was fun to orchestrate the interplay between the duo and--in a way--helped me see I could use my "internal dialog" as a springboard for more than one "voice" while adding to the on-line interactions.
As for why I wanted to contact Wargamer, there's a small matter of "intellectual property" to consider. A long time ago, I collated the story into one cohesive narrative. I ran it with the original ending, but I also had an "alternate ending" that suited my personal tastes, because it opened up the possibility of a continuing story line, similar to Stargate. If you're ever interested in see "what could have been," let me know how to contact you outside HooToo. You could post your e-mail address, then I could request the Mods to yikes the Posting. That way you stay relatively anonymous.
Since you played a very large role in the game/story, I need your permissin, too, to publish the text. Think about it, then let me know if you're amenable to it. I can't guarantee any royalties, but perhaps it'll give some exposure to a rollicking tale of adventure and humorous interchanges.
