A Little About Me...
Researcher 46822, alias Sneaker. That has a nice ring to it. It's nice to know Megadodo let us have names as well as numbers. Some companies wouldn't be quite so caring...So armed with my trusty towel (it has a lovely picture of a hippopotamus on it) and my Sub-Etha Sens-O-Matic (well, you never know), I'm off to explore the planet. You may well ask exactly what my qualifications as a researcher for the Earth edition of the Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy are. Well, I live here, which is one better than Ford Prefect. I am also an ex-student (I've just finished my A-Levels, and after having studied Spanish, History and English Literature for two years, I have all the experience of excruciating pain I am ever going to need...), about to go into the world of work in the IT industry (yes, I am mad), with the possibility of going to university in the future. I read science fiction and fantasy, mainly, although I'm rather fond of Lowell, Larkin and Harrison (we're talking poetry here, froods) as well. Musically, my tastes vary dramatically, but currently I'm listening to a lot of Jamiroquai, in between bursts of Radio 4 (not music - read the article) and Simon & Garfunkel. I live on an island. It is the size of a shoebox. A 9x5 mile shoebox, but a shoebox nonetheless. It is, coincedentally, called Jersey. This causes no end of confusion, as most people think I'm referring to New Jersey. This is not the case. I am, in fact, referring to old Jersey. Eventually, I'll come up with an article on this too. That's about it at the moment, but if I come up with anything else, I'll be sure to add it.
