How's your leg?

Hi TM, long time no chat!!
I eventually bumped into you at the London meet, but you'd hurt your ankle by then and I don't think you even registered the fact that I was on the train with you.
Maybe we'll get to have a chat next time around - I certainly hope so.

Hi Bassman,
Nope, sorry, didn't notice you. But then again, I didn't notice much but the leg at the time Eventually had to go down to the hospital on sunday to have it x-rayed... "Fortunately" enough I could suffice with walking on crutches for about three days. That is really hard by the way, especially if you have never walked on crutches before...
Anyway, it's been about three and a half weeks now and everything is getting better now. Just the one muscle/tendon that is still making an ar**h*le of itself. I did manage to join Shazz and the club when we went bowling last sunday(very carefully that is ) so I guess it'll heal.
It was a shame that we didn't meet at the meet itself but there were a LOT of people there this time. As I said to Peta : "If this goes on, next time you'd better hire the Royal Albert Hall!".
There will undoubtably be a summermeet, will you attend that one too?
Greetz,
TM.

It is TOTALLY my intention to do so - however life has a habbit of getting in the way!! It stopped me from attending three already.
I had a knee operation a while back - so I know where you're coming from. I had to fly back from Heathrow to Inverness, it was murder trying to climb the steps up onto the aircraft.

I've flown in and out of Schiphol many times on various flight simulators over the last few years, maybe I'll do it for real some day!!
I ended up getting a seat right at the front of the plane near the aisle so I could have the most leg room available. I was just amazed at how little quater I was given by the public in general, considering I was on crutches.

Yes, indeed. The flight-attendants are usually more considerate then the the fellow-travellers. You know : you might just cost them one minute of their time...

I've chatted at some length about good manners and chivalry here at the guide, I just don't think things are what they ought to be. People in general are just too self centered. I always try my best....

I saw it a while ago, but was maybe too busy to say thanks then - I got there in the end....
