Einstein's last words

Post 1

TowelMaster

Hi to all,

I am writing/finishing some new lyrics for the band. For this I need the *exact* german version of Albert's famous quote" :

"God does not play dice".

As far as I can tell it should read : "Unser lieber Gott wurfelt nicht". It might also read "UnserE liebe(?!) Gott wurfelt nicht".

Anyone who can lend a hand here ?

Much appreciated,

TM.

I found something, but I'm not sure it's the whole quote. The authority, however, is unimpeacable. It's somethng Niels Bohr wrote about Einstein. I can't post the URL in the forum here, so I'll put it on my page of external links:

He has the words: ". . . ob der liebe Gott würfelt," in reference to the dice-playing conversation. I'm not sure which word(s) is/are left out there. I'm in the house of a friend who speaks German, and I'll ask him when he wakes up.
