Irving Washington - Gone Writing Started conversation Nov 18, 1999
So... where were we?

Cybernard Posted Nov 18, 1999
Well, your roomie was cussing at his fiancee and someone wanted to slap her to sense I think.
Girlfriends et al
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 18, 1999
Well, slap sense into her is a bad idea, it sounds like the sort of thing he would do. Only his definition of "sense" may be different.

It's really hard to get rid of controllers....because they use all kinds of stuff to prove that they are right, and can find excuses all the time for their behaviour. Especially from the distance it is hard to trust.

I think a hefty slap from a like minded female would probaly work...
thats what I took...

Mrs V Posted Nov 18, 1999
It would take someone she knew, and/or trusted, to point out what a scumbucket that guy was being, or to show her 'if a guy loves you he does such and such, not treating you like this!'

So, there's not much I can do?
Girlfriends et al
Mrs V Posted Nov 18, 1999
I'm afraid interfering could only be detrimental to your health. I wouldn't do anything if I were you, It'll all come out in the wash.
(I wouldn't want to see you get hurt, either physically or mentally)

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 21, 1999
My lack thereof is having a grand ol' time, though I'm sitting here addicted to a web site...
Girlfriends et al
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 28, 1999
Nope, I've still got a lack thereof. The holiday went well -- got a song recorded with a friend. It's strange... I think I enjoy making songs with him quite nearly as much as I enjoy spending time with a girlfriend. It's an emotional connection, creating music. It really is.
