Mochyn yn a pryf (pron: more(without the r) ch (as in loch) een - un - a - preeve.) my daughter tells me, is welsh for the above mentioned pigs can fly.

I hope this increases the wealth of knowledge that is 'out there'.

It's Varkens kunnen vliegen in Dutch...
I would know it in Swedish if I only knew what pigs are in Swedish...
Hold on..I'll go search the dictionary smiley - smiley
Svinnar kan flyga...
I think that should be right...add and you'll notice if some Swedish person thinks it's incorrect smiley - smiley

Titania (gone for lunch)

Hmmm, in Swedish, it should be:

Grisar kan flyga

...or you could also say:
Svin kan flyga
...but that's a bit more unusual way of putting it...

...trust me, I was born and grew up in Sweden...smiley - smiley

Lisa the Freak // Poet by the Toga

German is mispelt.

"Schweine können fliegen." or is it "Die Schweine können fliegen."

I don't know if you need "die" in there because it means "the".
(Schweine needs a capital as it's a noun and fliegen's an infinitive. smiley - biggrin)

And your Latin - i don't know if it's right, but i know that you don't have capital letters in latin apart from proper nouns. hurrah!
