Are you sure they haven't taken over already?
* insert smiley that shows unsuspecting humans being carried away to have parasitic superintelligent beans pressed to their backs.....*

I'd trust coffee beans about the same I trust my mother.
Baked beans are spies for the alien controlled ( no, not the parasitic superintelligent beans, the other ones...) Heinz company campaign to take over the world and steal my essence (see Dr Strangelove).
Good job I avoid eating them. (I try to avoid any member of the Deadly Nightshade family which includes tomatoes, potatoes and peppers).(They're not aliens, just bad for your Chi).

You can live without tomatoes, but you die without Chi.
Continue to love the form, the shape, the smell and the fact that you never know if you're going to find the name of god written in arabic inside your tomato when you cut it, ( some muslim did in this country and it made the national news).
Theres no way I'm going to say " My Chi's bigger than your Chi"
< Insert smiley that suggests I expected to have to explain what Chi is and basically I have to take a taoist stance that I don't really know what it is, what I know is when my Chi is low and when it has been, the world has come crashing down on me.>
So you're two timing the Bean with the tomato eh? Or are you just good friends?

HELLO!!! I'm sorry, this conversation somehow got lost in the heap, temporarily... I am happy you posted again...
I know a little about Chi. I love tomatos. Beans are good, as well... what is the consensus on chilli, which has both in it!??
Dragonfly's Purple Beanbag at Caffy's
beanfoto Posted Dec 7, 2001
Chili peppers and green/red/yellow/ orange peppers ( I believe there are purple ones now), are capsicums and so also members of the deadly nightshade family and so are Chi no nos.
I stil have the occasional chili but with no tomatoes.Do you remember to be authenic and put cocoa powder/ chocolate in your chili?
Green peppers are difficult for me to give up, but I can't take chili powder like I used to which is difficult as I love Balti curries

Is that a taoist/zen statement?
*Insert smiley showing self meditating crosslegged on your somewhat gnomic statement*
Are cheesecakes the stock (en anglais, shares), or the currency? In either case, do you walk about with you head bent back and your mouth open when they're falling?
* insert smiley with wagging finger, warning me to stop that chain of thought before we get onto the chocolate custard*

Not being sexist, but I thought geeks were exclusively male.( Tho there is Garths Unix friend in Waynes world 2).
Any road up as we say up t' North, I'm going back to the lovely realm of West Yorkshire for Christmas to see my kids ( who are and aren't), so I 'm not likely to be back on the 'net until early January.
I'm Buddhist but a seasonal message of Peace and goodwill to all men( and that does include women, tho not in a Jewish orthodox subservient way),goes out your way and in any direction you care to redirect it.

YAY!!! Thank you!!! I hope you had a wonderful time....
Early January!?? I leave for England on the 8th, and I won't return until the 21st... hope to see you before then....

Yes, its the 8th today so you are probably suffering from too many suitcases and about to be jet lagged.
Travel broadens the mind, but plays hell with the cicadian rhythms.
Enjoy England and wherever else you end up- tho' I could spend a fortnight just showing someone London - Hint - Buy Time Out.
