Glad you approve - tell me, did you see it before it went wrong, or after? It's currently gone wrong, so I'm fixing it.

Peregrin Posted Nov 2, 1999
In fact, it's gone wrong again - nothing's there...
When you saw it, did it say "Spider called Wally" or did it say "My Life, My Universe And Nothing", plus Blue Meanies etc???

Actually that was written by me, Bluebottle, but the computer's gone weird and thinks I'm eccles/peregrin, and it replaced my home page with Eccles one, and won't let me put mine back! HELP!!!

I'm not sure what I'm doing here, but I heard this plea for attention on another forum, and in response I sent a plea for attention and a promise of attention, so here I am, giving your homepage attention, just like I said I would in the addicts forum when I asked about film making because you said you were a Kubrick fan who's page never got visited.
Was that really all one sentence? Anyway, your page isn't wrong now, and you're yourself, I think. Can I divine from the "Blue Meanies" reference that you're a Beatles fan?

Bluebottle Posted Nov 5, 1999
Yep! I'm a Beatles fan through and through - completely obsessed, and trying to collect every album that the four did, not only together, but in their solo careers also. I haven't actually got very far (poor student), but I'm working on it - at the moment concentrating on the Paul McCartney angle!
So, as well as being a film fan, are you a Beatles fan?
And if you DO get your film made, can Eccles and I be extras in the background of it?

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 5, 1999
Sure. I'm planning on kidnapping a friend of mine who's very into the filmmaker bit to do the camera work and helping with direction (as my directing skills aren't too well developed). Where are you two from? Are you in the states, or do I need to write in a part for some British tourists?
I've written an article on the Beatles that's not near finished -- well, it can't be finished, but it's nowhere near submission, either. It's funny, I was born after John Lennon's death, but I seem to know more about the Beatles than alot of folks who were around to buy the White Album's first printing (such as my mother.) I've got just about every album released while the Beatles were together (minus Yellow Submarine, but I've got most of those songs elsewhere) on CD -- I've got all the singles, the Anthology, and a couple of compilations, though I prefer the albums. My dad got me hooked when I was in the fifth grade... It was a good thing, too!

We're English, but hopefully not tourists!
I was born just before John Lennon's death, but that's not an example of cause and effect!
I've got 23 Beatles albums, but no singles. The only album I know of but don't have is the New Yellow Submarine - I've got the old one, though. I just love that film - so much so that I bought the Official Yellow Submarine model, plus I'm saving up to collect all the new Yellow Submarine figures. So far I've only got Paul and the Flying Glove. I also have two Yellow Submarine mugs, plus the usual postcards, keyrings, posters etc that go with fandom.
But the best thing was in September I made the Trip and went to Abbey Road itself - and crossed over! You'll be surprised at the amount of grafitti in the place, I never thought anyone would write "I love the Beatles" on a crossroad in the middle of a VERY busy road, but people do!

Yes, terrible isn't it? KILL EVERYONE. Kubrick rules! Long live the kubrick and his memory. Mr. Washington,
have you seen A Clockwork Orange?

Calm down - this is a relaxing discussion, Sarah, not a "let's see who we can annoy today" competition.
