I'd have thought so, I don't think we should mess about. If he's going to get injured we'd best get full use out of him until that day.

Weird that he didn't get injured on international duty.

Although not so weird that we lost Gibbs and Jenkinson for several weeks during the international break....even though neither of them were on International duty.

The Football Gods are messing with our heads again. I bet they thought that particular scenario was very funny.

I'm always suspicious of the motives of the Football Gods.

Even now with a decent unbeaten run going I still think it's just their way of making sure that the feeling we get when they eventually make us crash and burn will be even worse.

They must do it because we never learn, we were cautiously optimistic last season. Look at how that turned out.

But if we play their game and be realistic and just accept that we're playing for fifth and that we'll get Barca in the last 16 and end up trophyless again.......that's what will happen.

Of course, we're locked in no matter what we think.
