Poinsettias. Those Christmasy type plants, with the red flowers. Well, if we've told you once we've told you a thousand times, those aren't really flowers. Really. It's just that the upper leaves turn colors, and get softer. There's a fancy term for this process, but we can't remember it, and aren't in the mood to pick up an encyclopedia right now. Point is, they ain't flowers, but they sure fool people. A lot like you. It seems like you're flowering right now, but actually, there's a lot more to come. Just you wait. And unlike a poinsettia, you won't get all scraggly, ugly, and thrown in the Dumpster a few months after your birthday.
