You Are Loved, Monsy!

I heard about the Willem Love Collective on Scarab's page, and I wanted to know who Willem was. The name interests me for reasons I won't go into here.. I came to the WLC page and this was the only forum in which you were still talking fairly regularly.

I hope I'm not an unwelcome intruder here ...? I read what you wrote a bit earlier - I'm not intending to make fun of anyone. This merely seems like an interesting concversation.

Hey Monsy, and Shee, and Soothsaya! Soothsaya, I guess if Monsy is OK with it, since this is *her* Love forum, then you'll be fine.
I'd like to give blood! I discussed it with my shrink, and he said I can start in March. Have to adjust to my medication schedule.
Sorry to hear you can't do it any more, Monsy.
The sixteenth of March will be my thirtieth birthday!

not to change the subject but i am still laughing so hard i have tears streaming out of my eyes ...two words : Rat Race that has to be the funniest movie i have seen in years . if you haven't seen it yet you've got to drop what you are doing and watch this film . rowan, along with a ton of other great actors outdo themselves in this one
sorry for the subject change but i had to relate this

Hi again all! Ratrace, eh? I like Rowan Atkinson, so I'll try and get to that film! You know what, personally I like him best in the Blackadder series! Oh yeah, and also the Thin Blue Line. The things they say there ... a repository of wisdom unequalled in human civilisation!!! !!!

Where did everybody go?
I don't watch much TV, and I don't go to the cinema very regularly, but I've seen some episodes of Blackadder and the Thin Blue Line, and also of Mr. Bean. I have a dvd player, but so far I haven't used it. Dvd's are still a bit too expensive for me.
I wonder, do they have good series from the past such as Blackadder, the Thin Blue Line and so forth available on video or dvd? I honestly don't know ... I also don't shop much. If they are, I'd like to get my hands on them, and I'd be willing to save up a bit to afford them.
I understand Willem lives in South Africa. Monsy, Shee, are you guys in America or Britain or Europe, if I may ask?

i'm in the US.
as for blackadder series on tape or dvd. the only place around here i've been able to find them is on BBC America. i don't know if you get that station or not but if you do you can find that they advertise lots of British series on tape and dvd for sale .

Hiya you guys!
There sure were some good funny TV series coming out of Britain, wasn't there?
Nowadays, I'm also hardly watching any TV any more.
I should look around the shops here in South Africa a bit, for what can be found. I'd like the complete Monty Python as well as Blackadder, the Thin Blue Line, Mr. Bean ... what else? Hmmm ... but really, right now I enjoy books more. Every evening I settle down and read a bit, after going offline. Right now I'm working on a book on Celtic mythology by day, and the short stories of Mark Twain by night. Celtic stuff is nice, but a bit too 'warry' ... which is why I read the funny, light stuff at night, when I'm more liable to become upset and panicky.
So Monsy, how are things going with you and your daughters?

i enjoy a bit of reading myself. i don't get much time to read anymore though what with the two teenagers and all. my husband laughs at me because i keep a book in the bathroom caddy so that when i go in to use it i can catch a page or two . the only time i seem to get peace and quiet is in there .
marijke is doing good...final court date (for sentencing) is next month. she went down for her drivers test the other day and passed so she is all excited and wants her car up and running asap now. i told her it was going to take a bit of time, not to long but long enough for mark to finish with the last bits and pieces for her.
