I must also agree with you, Wowbagger. I have not seen Iron Giant, but if Monsy is any indicator, it won't be long 'till I do!
As far as television cartoons, my favorite new(or should I say "newer") cartoon is Animaniacs. Seems Spielberg caught the true feel of the older WB style and modernized it.Plenty of slapstick to make the kiddies laugh, but enough hidden humour to keep the grown-ups' attention!
