I think they're planning on it - with a few modifications first. Hopefully the weird wing mirrors will go - they don't really look right...
Apart from that, still a great car!

Concept cars never make it to production without some "normalization". The mirrors will, most likely, be replaced by more conventional styled ones!

That's true... But I hope it isn't too normalised.

The only cars I can think of that were not drastically normalised for production were the Plymouth Prowler and the Dodge Viper.....but then Mother MOPAR prides herself on being different!

Dodge viper - now that is definately a unique looking car - although I must admit I don't know the Prowler.
What type of car do you actually have?

Well....here's as short as I can make the answer.
Monsy has two. Her daily driver is a '98 Ford Taurus. Her "project"(75% complete)is a '68 Dodge Dart 360cid "Police Interceptor".
I have a '71 Dodge D-100 pickup truck(bodywork in progress), and a '63 Plymouth Valiant convertible(my next project).
I also have an'84 Pontiac Firebird waiting in the wings, once I get the title problems straightened out on it!
I think I have enough to keep me busy for a while!

A bicycle most likely serves you well in your part of the world.
Here in Gardendale, I can be to just about anywhere I want to go in a 10 minute walk. Work is another matter...it's 40 miles away, but the company I work for provides my transport there.
The only thing I need the cars for is for visiting out of town friends and relatives, and to get Monsy to and from work. That, and the shear hobby of it!

Well, if you enjoy cars, then why not?
*Tries to think of something else to say.... Hmm, shall we discuss something non-car related???*

Okay, I will...
Have you read my "who is Bluebottle" page, BTW?

EErrmm....studying to be a lawyer, 'eh?....You realise the US opinion of lawyers.....we trust used car salesmen more!
Seriously, I wish you luck. It is a difficult occupation. As well as a difficult study. It has always intriqued me that law and common sense never meet, except in their results.
Incedentally, your birthday and my brothers' are the same....'cept he was born in 1951.

Well, although I am studying Law, I don't think I'll end up doing it - but you never know! And indeed I do know how Laywers are considered - have you read the Law jokes off of my "So Long And Thanks For Laughing" joke directory? There are far too many, I fear..

Probably not... But I've got an article or two in the Historical Society too.. All the ones about the Isle of Wight are by me.
I'm currently writing about shopping trolleys - if you could give me some input, I'd appreciate it!

FairlyStrange Posted Mar 7, 2000
Could you give me a definition of "shopping trolleys"?....Do we have them here?

They are trolleys you put shopping in...
I assume you do have supermarkets? Well, when you go to one, and you get lots of things you want to buy, you put them in the trolley, wheel it to the checkout till, where you take your food etc off the trolly, put it on the conveyor belt, they pass them by the barcode, you put them in bags, put the bags in a trolley, wheel it out to your car, unload bags from trolley to car, put trolley back, then go home.

Here it is "Americanized"!
They are "grocery carts" you put "groceries" in...
I assume you do have "grocery stores"? Well, when you go to one, and you get lots of "stuff" you want to buy, you put them in the "grocery cart", "push" it to the checkout "counter", where you take your "groceries" etc off the "grocery cart", put it on the "checkout counter", they "run" them by the "scanner", you put them in bags, put the bags in a "grocery cart", "push" it out to your car, unload bags from "grocery cart"to car, put "grocery cart back, then go home.

I only managed to "skim" through it last night......got a good read this afternoon. Very interesting and immensely true!!!
Must say, the plastic ones are rather common here. K-Mart and Wal-Mart love them!
I like the new ones they have, with the cup holder and the built in calculator! Never thought I'd see grocery carts go high tech!LOL
