So I'm guessing the NM is short for YFNMAW.
And while I used to be a Marvel comix fan for years (the Golden years) I was never fanatical enough to take note of the significance of YFNMAW.
Obviously if I knew what YFNMAW meant, I'd be yards ahead on getting your NM sign-off.
Fairly Strange is much nicer, it has fewer secrets and therefore friendlier and very, very DNA

LOL! Actually, it is more a *play* on "Spidy" than anything else.
If you'll recall, anytime "Spidy" caught the bad guys he always left a note for the the authorities with the crooks on their little web "ditty bag".
It was always signed "Your friendly neighbourhood Spiderman.
Back in high school I adopted the line, reduced it to the accronymn "YFN" and added the initials of my name..."MAW".
My friends, with nothing better to do, started pronouncing it, so I added a letter or two to make it match their pronunciation(yiffenmaw). To this day, it is still recognisable to my old high school chums. Matter of fact, thats' how my best friend from those times found me on the web....he did a search, and as "The Highlander" would say..."There can be only one"!
Sorry to say...NM has nothing to do with it. That came up over a discussion Monsy had with Shazz about me and some, shall I say, odd behavior after a bit much "American piss beer"!
Nowadays I use it to insure there is no confusion over who posted to a given forum...Monsy and I sometimes forget to "log out" so it has come to mean..."Not Monsy".
Now, If I could only convince everyone else of that.....especially those in here who really know. Oh well...maybe in time!.....nah....not with this bunch!LOL

LOL...Thanks for the "caps" bit!
I guess I chose my moniker well....Monsy says it fits TOO well
By the way....as a "stalker" at n2g2, I must say....I enjoy the site very much.
You have some interesting characters in there!

The silentalkers or s-talkers (as you call them) at n2g2 are the audience others will always play to. It is a rule in 'the theatre' that, if there is an audience of at-least-one-person-greater than the number in the cast, 'the show must go on'.
You may have heard that phrase but not often in it's proper context. I offer you this truth because one truth deserves another, watt?
But enough of my gypsy magic!
