Journal Entries
Um.
Posted Jun 24, 2000
I really think I ought to write a journal entry, but I can't think of anything in particular to write about.
Oh well.
I am getting VERY annoyed with jungle.com ... they claim to deliver in three to five days, but my webcam is taking fourteen days and counting...

Safeway's Sun Lotion
Posted Jun 9, 2000
Today I spent half an hour wandering around the Safeway superstore in Portswood, Southampton, looking for the sun lotion section.
You'd think that it'd be obvious, seeing as it's the start of summer, and seeing as they dropped a leaflet through our door yesterday advertising their sun cream. But I looked in all the obvious places (the toiletries section, on the ends of all the rows, next to the checkouts, etc.), and all the unobvious places too.
Eventually I gave in, abandoned my English stubbonness and asked several employees where it was. They didn't know.
During this time, all the frozen food in my trolley melted. I know it would have been logical to get the frozen food last, after the sun lotion, but I thought it would be an obvious and quick thing to find.
I am seething.

User page design
Posted Jun 3, 2000
I've just recoded the GuideML for my user page so it's ready for the Big Change this week. Everyone else will be floundering about wondering what's happened, and my page will be nice and neat as always... nyahahaha.
It's a bit like the millenium bug, except that this one will actually *do* something

Whoo-hoo! I've got a job at last.
It involves sitting at a desk shuffling round bits of paper.

Write an Entry
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
