AAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!
I've spent today downloading various webcam programs to use with my new video conferencing camera thingy. I can't get a SINGLE one to work!!! Well actually I did get one to work for about ten minutes, but it's inexplicably not working again now.
If anyone can help me: I'm trying to upload a still image periodically (about every ten seconds to start with) via FTP to my website. The programs that I've tried either don't seem to recognize my camera, or don't upload the picture. No error messages are ever given - it just doesn't happen. It's beginning to frustrate me. I'll probably end up writing my own program - it's really a very simple program that's needed. All it needs to do is periodically copy a file from one location to another. Ouch, my leg hurts. I don't know why, but it is aching an unbelievable amount. I haven't fallen on it, slept in a wierd position, or anything. The Gremlins have probably been gnawing it again.

If anyone is wondering where I've got to, ICQ has completely died on my computer. It crashes on startup with a Microsoft C++ error or something. It also crashes if I try to uninstall it. I've tried reinstalling it a couple of times and it does the same thing again.
If anyone recognizes the problem, pleeeease help...
Oh and is there a way of quickly copying over my contact list if I reinstall it? In the past, I've had to request every individual again. I'm sure there should be a quicker way.

Maggots

Today we cleared out the maggots from the pile of washing up in our kitchen.
Maybe we ought to wash up someday. I'm sure we'll get round to it.
Everybody's taking this presidential campaign thing way too seriously. I've got a good mind to do something totally silly and completely unexpected, like... um... er... resign in favour of my feet... or something.

I'm going away until next Tuesday, and so is Bluebottle, just at a critical point in the presidential campaign - the campaign fliers are being released in the POST on Monday. Oh well... if you've got any questions or accusations, they'll have to wait.
Jungle.com are irritating me. A lot.
