I know - that car was like a member of the family. It took me to university - and it is no mean feat fitting all college stuff and a family of four into a car that impractical. It took weeks to straighten my brother out. Plus it was really good for arriving swankily at places..... so we are back to driving a Bedford rascal van!!! Anyway how was your bank holiday?

I had a very nice bank holiday, thanks... the weather in Falkirk was unusually pleasant - sunny, dry and warm Unfortunately I was in Glasgow, where it rained like a bitch. Oh, and I got an unexpected e-mail on Sunday evening which made me smile... 
How was your bank holiday, apart from the car "incident"?

Sorry to hear about your car!! I also have a vehicle very very dear to me, which I purchased when I was 18. It currently sits under wraps in a garage, waiting for the day when I have the time and money to get it back on the road!
Many a time I been advised to sell it because "it's a white elephant", "you never do anything with it" and "you think more about that bloody car than you do me". I have no intentions of ever selling it, it's my pride and joy!
I had a fantastic weekend, what did you lot get up to?
