I hate subjects... don't you?
Wilson Brown-Bear (PSoDL) Posted Feb 16, 2000
I tried to smile once, nothing happened, I don't think its in me. It's very nice of you to try though. Maybe one day I will try again, when I feel up to it. I haven't been well lately you know, I have this terrible pain all down my left side. I went to the doctor's, but he said he doesn't treat teddy bears.

I used to feel like that. Did Menza send you to me for cheering up? Sounds just the sort of thing he would do. I think the best way to be happy is to concentrate on what you have. I know it seems like nothing. If this doesn't work then you could always lock yourself in a room and cry. That works too.

No Menza didn't send me, I came of my own accord. I'll go again if you want, I'm never one for stopping where I am not wanted...
I'm not getting you down am I????
I dare not cry, as I smell when my stuffing gets soggy, so it's not worth bothering.

*smile* No. I just thought he might becasue I went through a long stage of depression on h2g2 and he usually got hit in the face with it. Metaphorically speaking. Don't go away. I wouldn't want that. Sorry, I'm not very good at cheering people up...

You seem to be doing just fine to me, you seem like a really nice person. I am rather glad that you are no longer sad, sadness is a bad thing, it makes you unhappy you know... Grrrr... one day, when I am happy I will tell the world about it, Grrr, not that anyone would listen, no one ever listens to me. But it would be nice to tell everyone anyway. Don't you think???

But sometimes you can't help it, doctors tell me that depression is to do with chemical imbalances in your head. It's an illness, just like flu or chicken pox. The only trouble with depression is, unless you have suffered yourself, it is very hard for other people to understand how you are feeling, and so they often dismis it and tell you to cheer up... Grrr... if you could cheer up, you would. No one WANTS to be depressed...
Hmmm, I think I had better lie down for a bit, I think my brain just exploded...

Or you could try this. I don't know whether it works maybe you could be my guinea pig. Don't ask me where you'll find any Borage..
A teaspoon of the dried leaves (of Borage), or a tablespoon of the chopped fresh leaves, is added to a cup of boiling water for the leaf tea. For the flower tea, a teaspoon of the dried flowers (Borage again), or two teaspoons of the fresh flowers, are added to a cup of boiling water in a saucepan and allowed to simmer for a minute or so.
It's meant to cure depression.

I am not really depressed you know, people just think I am. Thankyou for the recipe, it's very kind of you, and I am sure it would work if I had a mouth. I could try rubbing it on my bottom, that could be fun, or maybe not!!!

I have written a letter to the h2g2 Agony Aunt, about Wendy and myself. I hope she/he/they/it, manages to sort me out.

Yes H2G2 has an Agony Aunt, very nice they are to. They answered my letter in this weeks post, very quick service.
Wendy Floosy-Bear is a wonderful girlie bear who I fell in love with, she left me for Scruff the Scruffy Dog with the big Wossname, and is now to be seen sitting with Tenby, a teddy of the colour purple. It's a terribly long and complicated story of which I don't want to depress you with. It's very sad you know, just like my life.
Life, don't talk to me about life!!!
