Oh dear, ... hospital ... Even for the most minor of treatments, it's not a pleasant time. I really do wish you well, patience, and enough tail-room. Mails are good, if you'd care to elaborate. Having been married twice, and with a daughter, there's not much that makes me cringe, wince or

(ouch) nothing serious, I'll not ride a bicycle for a few days and obviously this will not stop me from the fun I'm entitled to
Bob has two dancing dinos all for himself and they got the idea that soaking the bathroom is a fun thing to do

If you must retire the bike for awhile, I guess there's no choice left but either a rickshaw, or much languid lounging. Being waited on hand-and-foot. Oh life, could be sooooo hard, eh?

You really are going to have to reduce that . You'll end up all , and the little dinos will wonder what Mommy and Daddy got up to.

*riffles about the work-shop, rounding up all the assorted bubble-wrap*
Try bundling up in this stuff then. It's far easier on the softer bits. But do mind sharp corners? All of those pop-pop-pop reports through the house will have the neighbors thinking you've opened a rifle range in the den.

We have no end of the stuff, bubbles from as small as 4mm to as large 3 cm. It sounds really if some is left on the floor and an office wheely-chair (with a 100-Kg guy) rolls over it.

the huge bubbles make wonderful sounds! more so if you wrap it up and turn, turn, popping bubbles like a machine gun
s are not too fond of that sound

It also proves a very effective way of clearing a room of . Mind you, when they leap into the air, spin-about thrice and launch themselves, they DO leave a lot of free-floating fuzzies.
And then when they return, I get the "you did that to us" scowls. NEVER aimed at the missus, always the old man. If scowls could wound, I'd be drained dry by now.

.. it wouldn't be wise to do that with near .. he's not really afraid of loud noises, but it's not easy to foresee reactions to this it may involve a mad run through the house, over, under, or through anything in it's way ..

I think it could do real and lasting damage, but something really serious would have to happen.. usually it's a bit of a

Ah, some Grandma's and Grandpa's went wandering the locales. An assorted y genealogy. Still, if they have a heart and love to give, who cares of the history, eh>
Anyway, what non-bathroom-related stuff have you and the herd planned for the week-end?

"assorted" is probably the right word
but they're sweet, nice, tender, love to play. The postman *must* have two sticks with him to throw, so they can fetch. He's in for a rough walk if he doesn't The Saturday temp postman usually forgets the time and stays to play
strangers are usually met by bare teeth and low growls..the sort of growl that makes your neck ripple..
the weekend will be spend in lazyness.. or rather is spent in lazyness and if my counting isn't far off you'll be cleaning the house before your lady returns??

Yeah, the manliness of the house has faded, and back to girliness ... Meaning that the bathroom has bee properly cleansed (the lid down too), dishes actually hand-washed instead of - mode, ... hell, even the bed has been made. I still don;t understand that bit, yer just gonna sleep in it again ...
But yep, around 3'ish my time (9'ish pm for you) she'll be in, tut-tutting here and there, being tripped up by 2 cats that will seems as 7 ... And life becomes normal again. Sooooo nice.

I'm impressed! apart from the bed ideas: a bed should be properly made! it's not good to get into an unmade bed.. sheets should be straightened, blankets properly aired.. it feels wrong to just step in as you left it that morning..
it's good to have a homely home

Sorry, I wasn't plain. When I said the bed was properly made, that meant that after her absence, everything was washed, dried, tumbled and -inspected. It's fully fresh for her arrival.
Not because I know she will cook at me again, of course. That might seem male and selfish.

now I'm really impressed!! clean sheets on the bed! Bob knows that's something that happens every now and then, but I know he wouldn't bother to straighten out sheets and blankets after he gets up... he'd just roll in at night, no matter what.
and I wouldn't think of you as a selfish male really .. s for your lady wife for educating you! maybe she has any tips on educating the male of the house?
