Jesus Christ! I'm getting *hell* on the Extra's thread - as you can see. I wish I hadn't said anything now. (p.s. I got that 'bitter and twisted' comment removed from last night - I thought it was completely out of order.)

I can't be bothered with the latest "Extras" thread, there were 76 new messages since my last post and it looks like the usual suspects saying the same old things.
What "bitter and twisted" comment?

I've given up on it now. Pointless really - just goes round in circles. Didn't you see that comment? Was right next to one of yours - can't remember exactly what it said now. I just thought it was quite a nasty comment to make about someone (i.e. they called you 'bitter and twisted'!) - a bit 'off', imo.
What happening on eBay today? I'm thinking of flogging my entire David Bowie collection on there after his appearance on Extras, and now Spongebob Squarepants. Gone right off him.

Was that the same comment that referred to me as a she?
I responded to that, but I ran out of time. I thought I'd saved it somewhere, but I can't find it now.
I have nothing worth selling on eBay, apart from Cds/DVDs/books. I enquired at one of those "Cash Converter" places when I was desparately short of money some time ago and they said they only paid a couple of quid for DVDs and about 50p for a CD.

No - that was another one, but by the same person (I think) - looks like that one has been removed too (I didn't complaint about that one though, don't remember anything particularly offensive in it - apart from the 'she' bit!).
I got rid of quite a few old albums (vinyl) to raise a few quid some years ago - but it was to a second hand record shop. Only got about a quid each for them. Wish I hadn't done it now. Plus I recently sold a whole load of Street Sounds albums - mind you, I got 40 quid for those, so that wasn't so bad!

It's a buyer's market unless you have something rare or a warehouse full of CDs.
I must have spent thousands on books/records/films, but I'd be lucky to get a a couple of hundred quid for the lot.

I think some of my albums *may* be quite rare -well, not rare exactly - but possibly worth more than a few quid. Problem is, where I keep them, my cats have been using the 'spines' as a scratching post so they have been ruined and probably rendered them worthless! A couple of the Street Sounds ones had been damaged like that - I don't think the guy I sold them to noticed it though, fortunately. I'm not rising to the bait!: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbpointsofview/F1951566?thread=3570680 (I *had* vowed not to post anymore to the other one, but couldn't resist.)

I'd read my latest post on "Extras" before it gets removed.

Ha ha! I like the 'burnt onto the screen' bit. btw, I don't know whether you had a look at his (racist) comments on the Five MBs - I'm not sure if they have sussed him yet, though. Anyway, I'm not even tempted to post to that other thread - it's a pretty crude attempt at getting a 'hook'.

I honestly thought he wouldn't fall for that "reverse psychology" bit at the end and get it removed.
He's slightly more stupid than I thought.

I just find it hard to believe how many times people have said 'if you don't like it don't watch it'. People are like sheep.

Arachnophobe Posted Oct 13, 2006
Nah, sheep generally do as they are told or are scared off by other animals and keep quiet.

Panðora Posted Oct 13, 2006
Oh god! I don't believe it! Someone's just said it again!
p.s. You sounded like a bit like a sheep then - Nahhh!

I have a real aquarium. Unfortunately, with no fish - just gravel and a few rocks.
Not many aquaria have sharks in them like yours, but I used to have a few fake ones:

What happened to your fish then? Didn't you realise you had to feed them?!

They don't live very long. I couldn't afford to keep restocking the tank.
Plus, their upkeep was quite expensive for someone with my meagre "income": food, filters etc.

I couldn't be arsed with all that messing around - at least all I have to do with my cats is put one bowl of biscuits out in the morning and another in the evening, and that's it (mind you, they seem to be costing a small fortune).
My neice has an aquarium and it always looks filthy - christ knows how the fish survive. Plus she has god knows how many guinea pigs and hamsters, etc (all kept in similarly filthy conditions) - oh, and she had several zebra-finches which she 'accidentally' set free (after they had pecked each other to bits). Amazing thing is that she is taking some sort of college course in 'animal care' - you'd never believe it.

My neice has just got some sort of rabbit, I dread to think what 5 (or 6? I forget) of my nieces and nephews will do to it.

You've got that many nephews and neices?! I bet you must get roped in to do a fair bit of babysitting. I've only got one neice and my sister used to ask me to 'babysit' constantly - I had to refuse in the end. Didn't really go down too well.
