Spiny, I was driving along a quiet country road with my dog going to visit his girlfriend to take her for a walk the other day. I turned on my radio to hear Mark ask a certain Thom Yorke a question from Spiny Norman.
Was it you?

Wassssuuuupppp yourself! (Isn't that annoying when you get a tableful of people doing it in a pub, as we must surely expect now for the next few months)
Er... no.
I presume you mean Mark and Lard, whom I almost never listen to, being as how I work during the day, and have abandoned Radio 1 in favour of Radio 3 (and in keeping with my advancing years - but at least I didn't go there via Radio 2).
How IS your dog's girlfriend?

Budweiser have a lot to answer for - I am here by making a personal vow not to do it again!
Completely mad - she is 11 years younger then Henry so he is a bit of a sugar Daddy. Still it keeps him young and fit!

In dog years that's about the equivalent of a pensioner and a sixth-form schoolgirl, isn't it? Lucky dog!
Do you suppose we've seen the end of the Budweiser lizards then? I liked them a lot more than the wassup guys, but I still can't work how either was ever supposed to make us buy their filthy beer (a real ale man speaks...)

Yes I suppose it is. Blimey - it is like Anna Nicole Smith all over again.
I think so - and I agree with you. This latest campaign is fairly boorish and not as funny as the lizards. I think advertising is becoming far to clever by half. My friend applied for a job at Satchi& Saatchi and the application form consisted of a disposable camera and the instructions to take three photos that summed up his life in a creative manner!?????!!!!

Three?!
I'd be lucky to get one. Tell your friend he's well out of it! (he...er...didn't go for it, did he? *embarassed grin*)
