Great to see ya again! Yep, about time we pulled the dust sheets off the furniture and opened some windows to let some spring sunshine in.

I guess everybody's been busy elsewhere, what with holidays, birthday parties, floats, flying castles an' all. blu seems to be having an attack of RL at the moment as well - she hasn't been on for a few days. And I was on holiday in Sicily for two weeks which is why I disappeared. I've been enjoying some of the other stuff around the site too so I guess I haven't been "home" much either.

So how are you? You're looking good on all these floats - I think the Aroma Cafe's most how I pictured you... Now I'd offer you some milk and a plate of Italian biscotti, but I'm out of everything. Want to make yourself comfy while I nip round to the corner shop?

Me will plump up the cushions... and hoover the carpet... whilst you get some fresh milk and doughnuts in... tis good to see you again... hope you enjoyed your holiday...

Aha! So you're not at the masked ball! Well that rules out one person I was sure was you. I don't know if you've been on the Flying Castle recently, but there's a masked costume ball on the go, and we're using aliases until blu tells us we can unmask. It's fun! Somebody's being Darth Vader, there's an Egyptian Princess, and Ragnar Hairybreeks the Scotch terrier isn't fooling anyone. I was sure you were in there too...Hmmm...

We had a great holiday thanks. We were on a little island just north of Sicily. It's part of a group called the Aeolian Islands which include the active volcano Stromboli. You can climb right up to the crater, or if you want to save time but not be quite so impressed, you can sail to a vantage point at night and watch the eruptions, roughly every fifteen minutes or so. Quite awe-inspiring, even from the boat. Moira wants to go back next year, which she hardly ever wants to do with our holiday places, so that'll let you know how good it was. But next time we'll learn some Italian before we go. It's embarassing looking things up in a dictionary while the waiter's hovering to take your order. Yo'd like it there - they eat doughnuts and croissants for breakfast.

Speaking of which, I better get round the corner and re-provision the place. Back with some goodies v. soon.

*Bursts in, dumps several huge shopping bags on the table*

Right! First things first, on with the kettle. Now, lessee...enormous box of Scottish Blend tea bags, sugar doughnuts, six litres of milk, maple syrup doughnuts, Lavazza Italian coffee, iced doughnuts, beer sherry wine whisky port, jam doughnuts, sugar, chocolate doughnuts.

Will that be enough doughnuts? Tuck in, my friend.

As for the masked ball, I think we're all on our honour not to just go to the person's home page. It's much more fun guessing. But if you're appearing here as Greebo, you must have an ACTUAL alias at the ball...oh it's too confusing. Cup of tea!

Yes, the ball has been great fun, but the absence of the Queen has been a bit strange. Although she's managed a somewhat raddled appearance and told us of her problems. She's too busy to come to my humble house and kick her shoes off these days, though. Ah well, all these doughnuts an' just you and me to scoff them up, eh Greebz? Here, I forgot about the apple and cinnamon ones - try one of these...

Now Oh Spiked One... don't you think wanting to share all these doughnuts is somewaht greedy!!!!

Ah, yes... I mean, of COURSE they're all for you Greebz.
