AHA! a CHANGE in your homepage.

And by 'yesterday' do you mean 'yesterday' as in Alice in Wonderland: 'jam tomorrow, jam yesterday, but never jam today'?????

And if you dont mean that 'xactly, is there going to be a new, improved photo????

I await with great anticipation....

We must stop meeting like this...smiley - smiley

It's a generic newspaper kinda thing. When they don't have a recent photo, or the one of the person actually doing the thing in the article, they put a library picture in and caption it somewhat weakly "Mr. X yesterday". But I fully accept that might make sense only to me!

And I'll do a journal entry just for you, okay? I mean as if I didn't have enough to do with the quest an' everything. Sheesh!

there, there,
I was just teasing and poking a little.

I didnt know the newspaper thingy about 'yesterday'. Is that a UK journalistic convention?

And are there pictures of you, Spiny Norman, in all the UK newspaper libraries????

Oh, and dont worry about the journal entry. I really do find the other one quite friendly and comfortable. Sorta like old slippers...

..oh, and if it's not exactly a convention, it's probably more of a cliche. It features a lot in a British satirical weekly called Private Eye. Just a dig at poor journalistic standards, really.
