Weird knowledge about toys

Post 1

Frizzychick

Hi, I've just read a posting of yours in a forum about classic toys - I'm writing this on the off-chance that you are a collector of such paraphernalia. If so, I'm after people to write about their collections at http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?forum=17685&thread=24081

thanks,

Frizzy

Hi!

Sorry it isn't Spiny, but he's away on holiday. Back soon I hope. I think he was going to be gone for two weeks and this is the second one.
So don't be impatient if he doesn't answer right away.

And good luck with your article. I'll pop over in a bit and take a look, too.

SPINY (aka Ship's Cook)

Hi Frizzy, nice to talk to you. No, I don't collect toys, I'm afraid, I just have an affection for the things that dominated my life when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. Nowadays I just collect musical equipment - amps, guitars, speakers, CDs etc - but I guess that's another forum. There is a guy at work here who collects model cars, but he seems to consider them more a hedge against inflation than anything else, so was reluctant to talk about them, Good luck anyway.
