I been alright. Didn't like that Yahoo place at all. You can't beat having your own home page, even if they won't allow my hedgehog or even the G.A.S. badge on it. You'll need to get that sorted, Greebz! Don't these letters after your name carry any clout?

Still, here we are sprawled in the old familiar armchairs (nice cleaning job, by the way, and did you find any coins down the side of them?) Soon it'll be warm enough to sit out on the old swing on the porch again, and maybe some of the old crowd will start to filter back as well. Happy days!

How do you like the daffodils? I went and picked a bunch for the windowsill this morning. And there's still a few of those blue flowers which aren't bluebells but whose name I don't know. They cheer the old place up no end. Truly spring-like, I feel.

Apologies for the few day's absence BTW, but I should have a computer in the house within the next few days, and then I'll be able to sit up chatting half the night like the rest of you instead of relying on defrauding the Evil Employer.

Ooh... those flowers are so lovely and spring like... unlike the weather around here at times...

Getting a computer huh... lucky old you... this one me is using is just about dropping to bits on me... me keeps it going through a mixture of swearng at it and loving it...

In fact, I was supposed to have it for the holidays, but I won't get it till next week because they didn't have the extra big hard drive I wanted in stock, and "England's shut" I was told. It's like being told Xmas is cancelled. I REALLY wanted to play with it this weekend *pout*

Sorry about that. Ah well, I've plenty more spines where that came from.

That might have been the iMac you were looking at. The G4, which is what I'm getting, only comes in a dull colour they call charcoal or graphite or something. It's an improvement on the turquoise ones they used to make - the G3, I think, but still not as cool as the iMacs. They've even got a dalmation and a flower power iMac. And have you seen the Cube? I fancied it because it has no fan in it and so it's quiet enough to use in a recording studio, which is what I'm getting the G4 for. Sadly the Cube won't run the audio software I want.

But let's keep this a nerd-free zone, shall we?

ME is happy to report that my has a new computer as well... my old one finally gave up the ghost.. poor thing... it has served me well...

My Easter was also my wedding anniversary... so me had a great time... ~Grin~... this computer is sort of an anniversary/birthday gift for us both... ~bigger grin~

So...you gave each other a present that demands solitary activity and keeps you apart ?

Hmm, well Easter was exhausting - I was glad to get back to work for a rest. I had to do some heavyweight gardening on a lawn full of moss, some heavyweight lifting of furniture to make some space for the new computer, and then some heavyweight building of furniture in the garage. (I'm making a unit for the hi-fi and my respectable collection of CDs. You can't buy what I need because most furniture manufacturers seem to think a large CD collection is about 50).

I bet you were out drinking and clubbing all weekend. How'd'you ever hook up with a nerd like me
