I've already seen so much about cutbacks, and added duties for other agencies here in Canada, and been the brunt ot Government stupidity in a big way because of it, that I sympathise with your outlook on police issues.
Having been involved with a cop for over a year, I see it from all points of view as well.
I don't know if you read my post about "Sane mminds want to know.....", but it can perhaps shed some more light on something you probably already know about.

Your viewpoint is always welcome. I understand your loyalty and your history of having worked in law enforcement. It can be a tough job to have.
The world is full of dichotomies, and justice is one area where we find many.
