Celebrity Capoeiristas

Were you watching IceTV last night (in NZ channel 4)? Yes that was me breakdancing crazily and winning the Moby concert tickets, poster and CD. Yay. I've been on national TV twice in the last fortnight. Practically my own surreptitious invasion of the airwaves. Next I shall attempt to subvert the internet to my own evil purposes.

beneath the apparently tranquil surface
Posted Sep 13, 1999
lurks my mind, a torrent of conflicting thoughts and feelings. What is going on with me at this moment is so extremely confusing that I might soon be forced to actually act decisively, sort my shit out and get out of my little rut.
Omigod what have I said? Did I just say that out loud?

pissed

'tis an interesting sensation, that of getting pissed at work. One minute you're sitting there pissed as a chook and then a call drops thru and you have to pull it all together for a few seconds to ask some in-depth questions on the current price of postage for a letter. Within New Zealand this is 40 cents. Surprisingly good value really. And of course the call to ask about it is free, along with my informative and friendly phone manner. Bloody wonderful
What am I talking about.

Just when you thought all Hope was lost
Posted Aug 12, 1999
Well, i went out on my coffee date. There was conversation and coffee (but she had chai as she doesn't like coffee) but we weren't quite so embarrassed as I had expected which was good.
Anyway things are going well and I'm all gooey and child-like (yes even moreso than usual).
Shoot me now, I'm a romantic.

wELL WHAT A FLURRIED THREE weeks that has BEEN. Golly. What, with flying up and down the countryside, playing all kinds of tricks on the little hamsters, setting my friend on fire, playing my guitar in the street, sleeping under the stars, and discovering the truth about the planet inside the mind of my friend Andrew Curtis-Smith (No I'm not going to tell you, you can find it out for yourself).
The pace is not letting up. I am going out tonite with my X grlfiend to get stoned and annoy cafe staff on K Road and my heavily be-sideburned friend is leaving on thursday to spend time in Australia helping aborigines who have decided to stop drinking bread-strained methane so we are farewelling him tomorrow night by taking him somewhere and handcuffing his brain to a streetlamp (hopefully this will assist him in ignoring the pain of his hideously burnt and disfigured hands and then on thursday I am meeting a dancer called Hope for coffee and embarrassed, slightly paranoid conversation. . .
so without further ado I'm going to roll off and get wasted with Sarah. Byebye.
