h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

'tis an interesting sensation, that of getting pissed at work. One minute you're sitting there pissed as a chook and then a call drops thru and you have to pull it all together for a few seconds to ask some in-depth questions on the current price of postage for a letter. Within New Zealand this is 40 cents. Surprisingly good value really. And of course the call to ask about it is free, along with my informative and friendly phone manner. Bloody wonderful

I sympathise with the pleasant sensation of being pissed at work. Unlike yourself, I don't usually have to interact with people (i.e. customers) directly when this happens, but it does make the act of constructing bibliographies that much less intensively boring. Unfortunately, however, I am so far from a place that sells alcohol in this workplace that I have not had the opportunity to take a liquid lunch for some time. I might have to institute the office bar some time soon...
