well itinery is unsure as of yet but will definitely include Amsterdam, the States, the UK, probably brazil and wherever else my feet (with the assistance of various planes trains and automotive conveyances) might take me. I'm probably starting in Amsterdam where I have a couple of contacts but I have no idea where or when from there...
It's kind of more exciting that (to quote the skipper from the simpson's) "Arrr, oi don't know whut oim doin'".

Oh, that's fabulously cool. Travel! accept certain inalienable truths....
anywho how do you get to do this??? for work, for leisure, for tour, eh??? The states suck you should skip em, or atleast most of them. I reccomend , new york, florida, and california....the rest of them are filled with inbred farmer mormons with 12 wives, 2 of which happen to be their sisters. have you ever traveled extensively before?

nope, I've spent most of my life hobbiting about in New Zealand apart from spending a year travelling through Australia with my family. that was kind of cool. this new idea of mine is far more scary because I'll be all alone.
I am going to the states because my capoeira instructor, professore brabo's, instructor miestre marcelo perreira has an academy in berkeley that I want to visit and I have a couple of friends over there I'd like to catch up with. I will look out for hillbillies though.

My cousin goes to Berkeley... he's said it was nice but don't take his word for it because he is a total prick. What is capoeira, you've befuddled and exhausted my comprehension skills.

it's a brazilian martial art that is taught through dance (it's in disguise so that coffee slave owners wouldn't recognise the fact that their muscular 12 foot tall negroid slaves were learning to do massive spinning butterfly kicks with razorblades between their toes - which is rather scary when you're outnumbered and only have a one shot musket).
it's the grandaddy of breakdancing but it's getting more and more recognised throughout the world. it's really small in new zealand though.

That is sick ( in a good way) ( I never can tell if people get my slang on h2g2 being a filthy american like myself) Very interesting, Is this like a life plan thing. is sounds pretty awesome. So you can like cha cha up to someone and give them a kick up side the head, and they'll be none the wiser until the pain hits home. Well, that's great info.

argh you've caught my computer disease.
I don't really do capoeira to learn how to clobber people. it's pretty much non-contact the way we learn it - more like a game. I could probably use it in a fight but I'd rather not get into fights....

i stoopid too, no worry. I hate double posts!! ugh. Why have you given me this disease?

Unsafe posting. Kids, remember to use protection when posting to forums or you too could contract this horrible affliction.
Who are all these strange people and what is this thing called work they keep telling me to do some of??
Thank you Mr. Sheik
Imaldris Posted Feb 10, 2000
Hmm...perhaps you are at work?? Perhaps the strange people are just jealous that you are able to converse via computer with fabulous monkeys all day.....Or perhaps the strange people are pod people coming to infilitrate your pure mind...with their foul beliefs of complacency?? mmm....just shoot them and be done with them. Do the postal thing.
Work, isn't that getting out of bed? That's work, definitely, I'm sure of it. The thing is to stop working, just stay in bed, you'll never have to work again nor will you have a job. Is that where you are when you're on h2g2, at work??
Thank you Mr. Shake your milkshakes are great!
Ac-1D Posted Feb 10, 2000
no when I'm on h2g2 I'm escaping work. but my physical location is the same as for the 5 minutes when I occasionally indulge in work-like activities in order to convince these animals that I'm actually doing something worth giving me money for. they don't seem to agree with my point of view that having me around with my ebullient personality and entertaining email dialogues is reason enough for paying me and giving me free direct access to the information slop trough.
thank god for the fabulous monkeys who help keep me on whichever side of the sanity line I'm on...
Thank you Mr. Shake your milkshakes are lumpy? What's in this anyway?
Imaldris Posted Feb 14, 2000
Ahh, I see... so you must have them atleast slightly fooled. I think for all your hardwork you should demand a raise in pay!! Or just ask and then beg to for mercy so as to atleast keep your job. Which side of the line is which anyhow, I think it moves...
Thank you Mr. Shake your milkshakes are lumpy? What's in this anyway? lard?
Ac-1D Posted Feb 14, 2000
no it's just that whatever side you're on it appears like you're on the other side. I hope I'm crazy because if I'm sane it would be scary to have so many crazy people in the world.
Thank you Mr. Shake your milkshakes are lumpy? What's in this anyway? lard?
Imaldris Posted Feb 16, 2000
Yeh wouldn't that be a scary one, but it almost seems true sometimes. Actually it proabably is, the world doesn't seem sane to me at all, actually sometimes I think i'm a little more rational than the populace. Perhaps the world has been poisoned and abused so much that very seldom sane people are born. Ah, that would be hilarious, but either side is definitely disgruntling. It a bit like Catch 22....But occasionally I do get in my mind that some great conspiracy is going on that I'm not party to make my life a very ambiguios stae of hell/heaven(whichever is which) on Earth. Perhaps this Earth is another planets hell?
Thank you Mr. Shake your milkshakes are lumpy? What's in this anyway? lard?
Ac-1D Posted Feb 16, 2000
perhaps this world is another planets drab soap opera.
sometimes you just want to scream at strangers.
