Satyr's Intro
Greetings and Felicitations!
I joined h2g2 for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that I'm a die-hard HHG fan, have been for years. (I first read HHG in 1982, and I've been quoting it ever since.)
I found this site in a sort of roundabout way - I was surfing Wikipedia, and went to their entry on HHG, to see their comparisons of the BBC seires and the American movie. h2g2 was linked in Wiki, and of course I had to investigate!
I was quite impressed with the overall concept, and the way the categories are laid out. The few articles I've read have been well-written, humorous, and quite informative. Well done!
About myself - I'm British by birth, and grew up in Wales, Montreal and US. I'm currently residing in the US, in North Carolina. I'm 43, male, and a devoted fan of HHG, Dr Who, and most other forms of SF and fantasy.
I'm a practicing Witch, and retired Priest of a Coven.
Merry Meet!
