It's fun; but it is a lot of work. The Subs deserve a lot of credit for doing it.

I thought there was less for them to do these days smiley - erm judging how much work the editors of the entries now do. Do you like my Madonna entry on the front page? shame I don't like the picture. Also if you ever fancied doing your job in the UK Raymond Blanc (famous chef)needs a gardener for one of his places. smiley - smiley

I have rather a plain taste I don't like pizza, lasagna etc so its strange I like mussels, frogs legs and snails but not all french people eat these delicacies and i think some think its strange i like them and have eaten them ......for xmas day last year i eat snails as a starter at a french mock up restaurant in Disney in America

Mock-French Disney snails... Now there's something to ponder. smiley - laugh

I enjoy going out and trying exotic things to eat. But there's nothing wrong with plain food either. Good basic meals, well prepared, are hard to beat, I'd say. smiley - smiley

Making them is part of the fun. I'm sure Santa prefers homemade. smiley - smiley

I am sure you are right.. homemade are the best ... but I don't believe in Santa who covered up the true reason of christmas. I wonder what the 'mas' bit means.

Hmmm...According to Babelfish it's Spanish and Portuguese for 'but', French for 'farmhouse' (?) and Greek for 'us'. smiley - erm

hmm so not very useful then maybe I'll stick with my idea that perhaps it has something to do with midnight mass but an s has been added over time. So mas = birthday... time in which Christ was born.

There must be something on the Web about it. I haven't looked, but I'd be surprised if there aren't loads of sites about the origins of Christmas. smiley - huh
