Double congratulations, then. smiley - smiley

It must be very difficult to be staring out and wondering what the future has in store. I've been in the same rut for so long that its hard to remember the sorts of worries that you mention. One way or another things tend to work out. I'm sure they will for you. smiley - smiley

i do hope you are right... because right now I'm really feeling frustrated in all areas of my life.

1) can't live with my bf yet
2) this driving stuff is taking longer than anticipated
3) I am in a boring job and want a 9-5 challenging job

smiley - sorry rant over .... I do hope you have exactly what you want in life smiley - smiley

Well, there's always room for improvement. smiley - winkeye

Actually, I can't complain about my lot in life. After all, I get to hang around in public parks all day and get payed for it. smiley - smiley

I just read your first comment having looked at my Madonna entry and wondering why theres not been no reply to it for a couple of days. I'd really like it to go out at a time significant to Madonna fans.

Talking about entries what do you think I should do with the Tibet entry I was working on?

I guess i am lucky in a way that I have a job ... people are in worse off situations.

If your online name refers to your career then I'm sure it is a very creative and fun filling time of a job. smiley - smiley One I wouldn't mind doing but not in the chilly winters. Either in your country or mine which are roughly the same.

Sometimes things languish in Peer Review for a long time without comment. Is that where your Madonna Entry is?

You could post our Tibet in Peer Review.

I am a gardener for a municipal parks department. I think our winters are a bit colder than yours in the UK, even in relatively mild Southern Ontario. It is nice to be outside, even in the cold and snow. smiley - brr

Yep my Madonna entry is in peer review and I have had a lot of comments about it and made changes. But since the comment lets fast track this entry. I have heard little more.smiley - sadface

I think I have also put Tibet in peer review but it overlaps with other entries.

I guess you are further north than we Brits.... keep wrapped up warm and don't catch cold. smiley - brr My bf wants an outdoors environmental job but getting one is proving difficult.

I don't know whether we are actually further north than you. I have the feeling that we aren't; I'll have to get the map out. I think you get warmed up by the Gulf Stream. Our winters are pretty mild because of the Great Lakes, which store a lot of warmth (realtively speaking) from the summer.

Peer Review is a bit frustrating when nobody seems interested in posting comments. Sometimes you have to be a bit sneaky and post something yourself to bring your Entry back to the top of the list. smiley - winkeye

my posting was the last 3 days ago! but have just done what you've suggested so who knows what may happen now. I've also tagged the link to my name for now smiley - smiley.

It will be you and my bf that laugh at me if I'm wrong about how the countries line up with one another. Aaah to be in Canada again my second favourite country after my home country.

In my mind a map of the world makes me think that America is situated adjacent to the Uk... I'm sure if its wrong its a common mistake made by people.

A lot of Americans seem to think they're Irish. smiley - laugh

I was just looking at a map and it looks like Canada starts a bit south of the UK and goes quite a bit further north. Where we are is actually quite a bit further south than a lot of the northern US states, just to add to the confusion, not to mention Alaska and Hawaii. smiley - doh

So if you moved the uk round the world it would end up on middle canada Quebec? not Niagra falls as my bf seems to think.

Niagara Falls is around 43 Latitude and London looks like it's about 52 on the map I just looked at. So you're a bit north os us. smiley - tongueout

On the other hand, geography academics might say that it is more likely that I have... and they would probably be right. smiley - erm

I take it you've looked it up then?

To be honest geography, space, the unknown etc scares me .... its funny that I'm going out with someone who graduated with a part geography degree isn't it. I must be loopy ... luckily he totally understands me so doesan't freak me out.

I'm more interested in the present (gift of today) culture, people etc... writing bios is far more fun than reading them. Like playing sport is far more fun than watching it. Anyway I'm waffling so I'll stop in my tracks. smiley - footprints

I'm no scholar, but I take an interest in stuff like this. One of the things I enjoyed most about Subbing was having to look things up and check that the facts of the various Entries were more or less... well, factual. It was interesting because I ended up spending a lot of time reading about all sorts of things that I would never have bothered with otherwise.

I like the sound of subbing but I'm sure little opti couldn't take on such a huge task.
