Martin Burch
I am Martin Burch, and am human of the male gender!I'm 17, and am living in Coventry, England having moved from Leeds three years ago. I am learning about English, Maths, and Economics for A-level at Finham Park Sixth Form.
I am a christian. I regularly pretend I know a lot about Sound Engineering, when actually I am just making nice noises come out of speakers! I have also just re-started playing with bits of canvas, rope, and tubs of wood to be a bit physical (this activity is called sailing). I enjoy food a lot, specifically chocolate and pasta.
I am interested in 'das komputen maschine', the exploits of the people in Star Trek of all flavours, and Red Dwarf. But I hope I'm not a nerd, geek or anything else!
I think h2g2 is an exceptionally good idea, and hope it doesn't become commercialised. I would like it to be able to be downloaded periodically to hard disc, so I can then view it from my palmtop computer, for which I don't have a modem. I can then take it wherever I go. It would need to be downloadable easily in a Zip folder, containing the basic HTML.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
