I'm ok with the funny hat but worried about the moustache ... d'you know where I can buy wax for it (never realised anyone had noticed it) ... or are you saying I look like Cyrano de Bergerac
No, that's not right ... gotta be a bit upset ...
G'nite!

Maybe the Rev Harding had a middle name beginning with T? Can't easily find anything via google that would either support or negate this argument, though.
With regards to your parting shot last night, I have come up with some choices of portrait although one is only included so that you can argue a bit:

Ah yes, but the Scarlet Pimpernel (c'est moi, toujours dans la crepuscule) is a diva of disguise, besides (kerpling) ...
... you didn't mention a beard
... or laughing

A beard is a beard is a beard (such talk, too, when sock puppets are being spoken of elsethread) and s'orrible (not a huge fan of face fungus, kin ya tell?)
Why are you turning your hooter up at my graciously served afternoon tea?

En garde, I am affronted (apart from which, I changed the gender of crepuscule ... I'm not ashamed of this, tis an error on the part of the French, as is the German error with die Sonne and der Mond imo)

But it was within double figures, in seconds, before three. By the time you'd sat down, tucked your napkin into your shirt and picked up anything else ... it would have been time for tea. It was only a little affront :-| and it's gone now anyway

First it was the latin, now it is the timing of afternoon tea, is this cavalier tendency the start of a trend?

More tea?
I fear my recidivist tendencies will not be gainsaid, and I am reverting to type ... there: the truth is out (sigh of relief, blow nose, cough)
Key: Complain about this post
