Oops, that should have read 'them-down-the-road' but something must've happened to the er keyboard
You're right, it was a cost effective option ... do you still need those dim pills to take with your hot tea?

Not to worry ... is it lunchtime yet? I thought, since it's hardly overwarm, something hot to eat today?
All these smileys, apart from the burgers and the hotdogs, are for cold food and I fancied a curry. Oh well, from our reliable and limited menu:
Don't really want tea for dessert though, you can have too much of a good thing

Ta! You're right, I am hungry - my appetite's back and the world is a different place today.
Not sure which goes best with strawberry cheesecake but I'm up for trying both with both, as it were - ok with you?
Now I must go and catch up on my emails ...

Always have a plan, of sorts, and keep it to yourself ... no-one need ever know that the non-plan didn't come together, eh?

Couldn't Call It Unexpected. Sorry, that TV clip isn't on YouTube anymore so here's an um another version to remind you of the toon:

G'nite!

Random thing, just saw some old footage of EC on TOTP and wanted to tell middle child what a good song writer he is.
G'night!

A rare sighting of the dual-purpose EC
Friend called and I had another speechless (well, voiceless) conversation with her ... soon, but not yet, I hope to be able to out-Satchmo Satchmo

That too, actually. Yonks ago and before I'd heard of Tom Waits (so it must have been 76/77), I had laryngitis and reduced the office of giggle with my Louis Armstrong rendition. No pain, and not much voice. Today my throat is beginning to sting again and I'll have to pace myself better to see this booga off.
I'm now onto my third box of man-sized 3-ply tissues, and I haven't been using them on a blow'n'throw basis. I should have left this damned virus in Ireland, where it belonged, and it's a pity it didn't show up in the security checks and get confiscated.
Another two tissues now soggy ...
You know, if that poster had the nous to sit back and read all the messages, including his own, objectively, he'd be uncomfortable with the double standards he was clearly applying. Mind you, last time I was lumped in with 'the clique' was by MIMSB and I got slamdunked by him following my first posting on that thread, and my first ever interaction with him (but I did want to establish whether it was one poster who was an 'offensive, self-opiniated little creep' or whether all posters were viewed with the same regard.
Quite funny, snapping at posh for her typo, given the typo in the 'creep' phrase ... and her response to being 'caught out' is gently snorkable imo.
Am I wrong or do I sense latent misogyny? You're soooooo wonderful, Psi, and thanking Jim ... who was then dismayed to realise that his claws were blunted
Key: Complain about this post
