Huh! There are other uses for tissues, you know, like blowing your nose (that'll be depth charging, I suppose) and mopping up spillages that might affect keyboard performance - to name but two.

Plus control of the depth charges. It's just not efficient to have to submit a request in triplicate and wait for the quarter master to locate them when the swamp is teeming with alligators.

Not that I know of. Like you, I'm skeptical but CB is adamant that this is the same poster; there seems to be a considerable backstory on this; I first encountered this on a thread in DTA about a month ago.

The only weak and corroborating factor is that, just once that I have seen and on the rhino thread, SSU's posting appeared with a date and time stamp. Ordinarily SSU posts in ML without it (presumably from IE) and K does use the date / time stamp and may possibly therefore be using Firefox or Opera with the Script. I've not seen SSU ever respond to CB's challenges in ML, although PIQ must have seen them.

I have not bothered to try to locate the clashes, sometimes life is too short ... maybe you'll persevere (in which case, you now have the various MP numbers to hand).

Hold still please, last bit....there, done. Right as rain. Well, nearly all that complaining about my surgical skill put me off a bit while I was reconnecting some of those fiddly nerve thingys so it might be a bit like driving an unfamiliar make of car for a while.

Well, I have seen people be utterly convinced before but when asked to produce the evidence it has turned out to be flimsy. The only time i can remember anything approaching substantive was the case of RP=MC.

I just think people let their suspension of disbelief run riot on message boards and they begin to think it is serious in some way.

Why wouldn't people suspend their disbelief on MBs, many do so in RL anyway? For all that it may seem trivial to you, it is clearly serious for many within cyber communities.
