* List of everyone to inform by email made out
* Bag packed
* Plans to bring our 2-year old to his grannies developed
* Prams and moses basket brought down from attic
* Final medical appointments
* Vegetable composter bought
* Marble chess set brought down from my parents
The list just keeps on getting weirder and weirder...

The latest scan shows that everything is where it should be and how it should be for this stage in the pregnancy (although I resisted the urge to find out whether it is a boy or a girl), and that my wife might be a little late. It's beginning to get exciting now...

A Close Call

My wife had a close call on the first day of January. She is 30 weeks pregnant (hooray). The baby seemed as if it was going to announce itself slightly earlier than we expected. She was rushed to the hospital, and stayed there for 2 days until she got the all-clear from the doctors.
Talk about focusing the mind! Because all of my energies have been on my two year old son, I haven't had much time to think about new arrival number two - until now. I can't *stop* thinking about it now!
