Have had to rescue my Bromelia plant which was being chewed by Mitzi - I'm sure it's as bad for her as she is for the plant

You seem to bake a lot sometimes - what's your favourite thing to cook?

I burned my lunch, too.

Let's see, if I'm really cooking... I like to make Mexican, refried beans, rice, tortillas, guacamole, the whole lot. And I love a good pot of ratatouille... Red lentils with tomato and garam masala over caramelised potato and pumpkin... Also just invented something very delicious, fettucine with fried aubergine, walnuts, and garlic in olive oil, maybe a bit of pesto...

The thing I make most often though is probably cheese pancakes Or pizza, when there are lots of scraps of veggies to use up.

Must admit I've got lazier in my old age with cooking. But I made a rhubarb crumble with rhubarb from my garden at the weekend.

Had a vegetable stir fry for tea tonight

Dunno, I have four or five "standards" And sometimes things go horribly wrong. Pasta and beans is not a good combination, especially not if you puree the beans, it turnes into sticky paste

I'd eaten so much rubbish at work today that I thought the veg would do me good
(I could blame it on work being stressful but that's just a feeble excuse for my weak will )
