Goodbye Douglas
Ceridwen Posted Aug 12, 2001
Hitchhiker's Guide was one of the first books I ever loved, and I will always be grateful for Ford, Arthur and the Paranoid Android. I only became aware of this site after DNA's death, but I hope his vision for it and the future comes true.
Tribute

I just heard that BBC Radio 4 (UK) will be broadcasting a tribute to Douglas this coming Saturday, and repeating all 12 episodes of the radio series of Hitch Hiker starting at 6:30pm BST on Wednesday, 5th September. A repeat is long overdue - it's just sad it took such an event to prompt it.
I don't know what the copyright situation is, but if the appropriate clearances are in place US residents should be able to listen in via the "live webcast" at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/live_feed.html - you'll have to figure out the time difference for yourselves...
